GLOSSA- Greek as a Vehicle for promoting Linguistuic Diversity

GLOSSA is a KA2- Languages project which has developed an online course for the learning of the Greek language in advanced and proficient level (C1 and C2 level of the CEFR). The GLOSSA project has also developed two methodologies, one for the development of online courses for advanced level language students and another for the self studying in online environments for advanced level students. The methodologies have to be based on the paradigm of the Greek language but they are transferable also to other languages. Furthermore, GLOSSA has developed a common European professional profile for language teachers teaching adults in non formal environments and has adapted an accreditation tool for language teaching skills in non-formal and informal environment.
METIKOS- Informal Language Learning for Immigrants

METIKOS is a Grundtvig project that aims to support the integration of immigrants in their host countries through the facilitation of the learning of the host country‘s language. The METIKOS project is based on informal language learning methodologies. It has adapted 3 informal language learning methodologies, language cafe, Tandem and cyber cafe to the specific needs of immigrants and has organised training sessions in 6 countries (Greece, Italy, Germany, France, Spain and UK) with the use of these methodologies. It has developed a methodology for informal language learning for immigrants which can be used by all the interested stakeholders and also a cyber language cafe (http://cybercafe.metoikos.eu) for the online informal language learning of immigrants. This online cyber cafe is divided in language cafe for immigrants, online community for all the participants in the informal learning sessions in all the countries and a bank of resources for online training.
CREDNET- Network for the Accreditation of the Managerial Skills

CREDNET is a Leonardo Network which aims to promote the accreditation and certification of the managerial skills acquired through informal and non formal learning. It has developed a methodology for the accreditation and certification of these skills, an online tool for self assessment of the managerial skills, a portal for the publication of best practices from the field of the accreditation and certification of the managerial skills and an online course for the improvement of the „soft“ and horizontal managerial skills that are needed for all the managerial positions.
NIREAS- Development of Digital Contents for the Operator of Wastewater Treatment Plants

The project NIREAS is a Leonardo- Transfer of Innovation project that has produced digital contents for the Operator of the Wastewater Treatment Plants. More specifically, it has produced an e-learning course in 5 languages (English, Greek, Romanian, Portuguese and Spanish) which aims to provide all the necessary information to operators that are currently working in wastewater treatment plants or are willing to work in the sector. The course is starting from the more simple procedures and gradually proceeds with the more complex ones.
DRYMOS- New Skills for New Jobs in the Forest Sector

The project DRYMOS is a Leonardo- Transfer of Innovation project that aims to develop e-learning contents for the development of the skills of the forest workers providing specific emphasis to the innovative aspects of the sector. The course is comprised of 8 different units and will be available in 5 different languages (English, Italian, Greek, Spanish and Portuguese). The course is addressed to forest workers that are already working as well as to unemployed people willing to work in the sector and to university students that are studying in relevant fields.
