Implementation of good practice

Madona Library has become our good partner for dissemination of LLP projects results.

First step for development of our partnership was a general workshop for 37 librarians from several rural libraries of Madona County organized by Daiga Lapina, director of EU information department, where she informed about language learning opportunities.

Second step was a workshop organized for language teachers from rural schools of county. 7 English language teachers participated in the workshop, where information about language learning resources was presented by demonstrating language-learning videos and showing resources of JOYN2.0 project and by demonstrating interactive platform for learning 9 languages and communicating with teachers, created within SuN.Com project.

Impact

The information on language learning was transmitted to 7 teachers, representing 6 rural schools of Madona County:

Elementary school of Liezere (78 pupils),

Elementary school of Prauliena,

Madona secondary school Nr.1 (680 pupils),

Elementary school of Sarkani,

Elementary school of Kusa (85 pupils),

Lubana secondary school.
